Holy Priest Macro Guide 4.2

World of Warcraft patch 4.2 was just released! This was by far the biggest one since Cataclysm came out ages ago or at least it feels like it. Although this was more of a content update instead of a bug fix or class nerf patch, you still have to worry about checking out your Holy Priest Macros before you do any major Arena or Dungeons.

Well patch 4.2 is finally here, and I want to make sure people don't make the same mistake as so many other people, and go charging into a Raid while half there Holy Priest healing Macros don't work. Even though there where only a few minor changes, it's best to make sure.

One of the bigger changes they made to healing was for the Critical heals. Now when you score a critical heal you will do twice as much as a normal one. Instead of the previous one in a half. Which is quite a buff if you think about it. This means more healing, and you don't even have to touch your Macros.

The next change is to Physic Horror which will CC anybody in your vicinity instead of you having to face them to get the Fear. This has been a long time coming in my opinion. If you have any complicated 4.2 Holy Priest Macros involving this spell, you may want change things up.

Lastly Shadow Word: Pain was nerfed a little. It now does twelve percent less damage then before. This may seem like a little, but just think how much that damage that is in a typical Boss fight.

Those are the only changes I noticed that mattered, so no need to change up your Priest Macros for now.
